Terms of Service

1. Who may use Fachat

Fachat is open only to people aged 18 and up; in places where adulthood legally begins later than 18, that later age applies. You also need the legal capacity to make a binding agreement. Using the site is also conditional on it being lawful in your location.

2. The service

Fachat provides one-to-one conversations in the browser (camera, audio or typed), an online list for choosing a person, following and messaging, and features connected to these. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and the service is not guaranteed to be available without interruption.

The service is reached at fachat.cam in a web browser and can be added to a device home screen. Both routes open the same service under these same terms.

3. Guest sessions and accounts

The first time you open the site, your browser is given a guest session without any action from you, and that session lives in that browser. You may attach a sign-in to turn it into a lasting account. You are responsible for activity under your session or account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

4. Your conduct

Our community guidelines are part of this agreement and you undertake to keep to them. In particular you will not:

• Use the site if you are under 18, or help a minor to use it.
• Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone.
• Display explicit or illegal content to a person who has not asked for it, or any content involving minors.
• Ask other users for money, promote outside services, or run scams.
• Capture, publish or distribute another person's image or words without their permission.
• Use bots, scripts or other automation, or interfere with how the site works.

5. Free matches, Reward Center claims and coins

New visitors receive free matches, and further free matches can be claimed from the Reward Center. The quantity and timing of these are decided by the operator and can be altered with no advance notice.

Coins are a paid, limited licence to use certain features on fachat.cam, including additional matches, direct calls and gifts. Coins carry no monetary value, cannot be passed to another user or moved to a different service, and cannot be exchanged for money. Prices are shown before purchase.

Any refund right granted by law remains yours. Otherwise purchases are final once coins have been used. Coins can be used on fachat.cam only.

6. Content and licence

You keep ownership of what you upload or say. You grant us a licence to store, transmit and show it to the extent that operating Fachat requires, for example showing your profile photo to other users. The site's own design, text and software belong to its operator and may not be copied without permission.

7. Enforcement

Where an account breaches these terms or the guidelines, we may warn it, restrict it, suspend it or close it, and may remove content. Serious breaches can lead to closure without warning and to loss of any remaining balance.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is offered as it stands. We do not vouch for the identity, statements or behaviour of other users, and you interact with them at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, the operator accepts no liability for losses that are indirect or consequential, and total liability is capped at the sum you paid to the site in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Ending the agreement

You are free to walk away from Fachat whenever you like, and may ask for your account to be deleted. We may end or suspend your access as described above. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability, do so after the agreement ends.

10. Updates to these terms and how to reach us

We may revise these terms and will update the date above when we do. Continuing to use Fachat after a revision goes live means the revised text applies to you. Questions go to [email protected].
