Is Fachat free? Follow one evening and see

Free at the door, paid further in. Opening fachat.cam costs nothing, and so do your first video chats. No card is requested, and no trial is running in the background waiting to turn into a charge. If all you want is to find out what talking to a stranger on camera feels like, you can do that for free.

What we will not claim is that Fachat is free forever or without limits. It is not. Past a certain point the site runs on coins, and the rest of this page shows where that point is by following one ordinary evening.

Free matches. A new visitor is given free random matches to begin with. They are attached to your guest session automatically, so there is no code to enter. Each time you tap Start on the home page and meet someone, one is used.

This is the part meant for trying things out. Have a few conversations, skip a few, and see whether a Fachat video chat is your kind of evening. Looking around costs nothing either: you can open Who's online and read profiles without touching your balance.

It is where extra free matches come from. You will find the Reward Center waiting at the top of the match screen: tap it, press claim, and your balance goes up. Claims are available several times a day, so the free allowance is not a one-off welcome gift.

You will notice there are no figures in that paragraph. That is on purpose. How much a claim gives is a setting on our side, and it moves. What is available right now is always displayed inside the Reward Center, which makes it a better source than any web page.

There are two ways forward and neither is hidden. Claim again from the Reward Center when it has something for you, or buy coins and keep going. Coins come in packs of different sizes, each with its price displayed ahead of the confirm step.

Decide the amount before you see the store, not after. Set a figure before you open the coin store, then buy that pack and nothing else. Keep your first direct calls short until you have seen how quickly coins go, and check your balance before you ring someone rather than after. Small habits, but they decide whether the evening ends as fun or as a surprise.

One rule has no exceptions: money only ever moves through the coin store on fachat.cam. Anyone who asks for a bank transfer, a gift card or crypto is running a scam, however friendly the conversation has been. The is Fachat safe page lists the usual scripts.

Mostly where the coins are kept and what to do when a payment misfires. Coins live on your Fachat account. If you are still a guest, they are tied to that browser, so sign in before you clear your data or switch phones; how Fachat works explains what a guest session holds. Coins are spent on fachat.cam only: on matches, direct calls and gifts.

For a payment that went wrong or a charge you do not recognise, write to us with the date and amount. The help center explains what else to include.
