Fachat Privacy Policy
The short, readable version
Privacy Policy
Fachat connects adults for live one-to-one conversations in the browser. Running that service means handling some personal data. Below you will find what is involved, what each piece is for, who else touches it and the choices open to you.
Last revised October 13, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
It applies to everyone who visits fachat.cam, whether as a guest or with a sign-in attached. It covers the site in a browser tab and the home-screen shortcut alike, since both open the same service, and it applies from your first visit, before you have made any choice about signing in.
2. Data you give us or create by using the site
- A guest identifier generated on your first visit, plus your chosen display name, language and confirmation that you are an adult.
- Sign-in details, if you decide to sign in. We receive the identifier needed to recognise you, not the password to any outside account.
- Profile content you upload, such as a photo or a short self-description, together with a record of who you follow.
- Typed messages, which are stored so they reach the other person and stay in your chat history.
- Activity history: times of matches and calls, approximate durations, Reward Center claims, gifts and coin spending.
- Reports you file and messages you send to support.
3. Data collected automatically
- Network information such as IP address, from which a country is derived.
- Device and browser type, screen size and operating system.
- Error and performance logs that help us fix faults.
- Cookies and local storage entries that keep your session alive and remember settings.
4. Your camera and microphone
Access is granted by you through the browser's own prompt and can be withdrawn from the browser settings whenever you wish. While a call is running, your picture and sound are transmitted so the other participant can see and hear you.
Whatever appears in front of your camera is visible to the person you are speaking with. We have no means of preventing a participant from filming their own display with a separate device.
5. Payments
Coin purchases are processed by an external payment provider. We keep the order details, the amount and the time. Card details are entered with the provider at checkout.
6. What we use the data for
- Operating the service: matching, connecting calls, delivering messages and showing who is online.
- Keeping accounts: balances, follows and settings.
- Safety: reviewing reports, enforcing the community guidelines and keeping minors off the site.
- Fixing and improving the product, using logs and aggregate usage figures.
- Meeting legal duties, including keeping payment history.
7. Who else receives data
We pass data to service providers that work on our behalf, such as infrastructure and media networks, the payment processor, analytics suppliers and helpdesk software. Their use of it is restricted to the job they do for us.
We may disclose information where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect a person from harm. If the site were ever transferred to a new operator, the data would move with it under terms no weaker than these.
8. How long each kind of data is kept
Data tied to an account is held until that account is closed. After a deletion request it is removed or anonymised, except for information we must retain by law, such as payment history, and information needed to enforce a ban.
9. Your choices
- Email [email protected] to request a copy of what we hold on you, to have an error corrected or to have your data deleted.
- Turn camera or microphone access off in the browser.
- Clear cookies and local storage. Note that this ends a guest session permanently.
- Object to a particular use or complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Fachat is for adults aged 18 or over. Nobody under that age should be on the site; if it comes to our attention that a minor is behind an account, that account is shut and its contents are wiped.
11. Changes
Whenever we revise this policy, the date shown above the first section moves forward. If a change is significant we will make it noticeable on the site before it takes effect.
